Niykee who's had an eventful few years, including getting picked by Snoop to perform with Snoop at The YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee maintains a consistent songwriting schedule despite all this. A producer magnet Niykee is constantly looking through beats delivered to her. The majority beats spark fresh songs. It's only after five minutes when I'm able to determine whether a beat is worthy of my time. From there I am able to see the concept of a song's whole concept inside my head and start to write. If I am sitting on my porch and play guitar, the lyrics just appear and usually are completed in less than thirty minutes. Niykee keeps working on her talents as a writer and the lyricist. She notes how the trauma she endured during her childhood has served as an infinite sources of motivation. Even when I'm not writing literally about things that have happened to me all the hurt of growing up and loss of my sister in being integrated into my songs, she states. The resulting music is shaped by my experiences and provides it with a deeper significance, something I consider very important. I would like to be able to hear my songs in 20 years and be proud of the things I've written.
