Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) she is an English singer/songwriter. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding rapidly pushed her into the top of the charts when she drew the attention of the public in 2010. Her ability to achieve this feat with her songs "Starry Eyed" as well as "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is at the forefront, like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music as well as independent hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano voice and knack for writing emotionally honest songs are what make her distinct. In the end, she signed a major-label agreement with Polydor Records and began making arrangements to release her debut album.
